Dr. Jordan Kraft
Dr. Jordan Kraft was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and grew up in Austin, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate studies. After two years, he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in biomedical science. From there, he was accepted into Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where he focused on mixed animal medicine, graduating in May 2012 with honors. During his time at Texas A&M, Dr. Kraft spent his summers as a Veterinary Medical Scientist Research Fellow and participated in research on RNAI suppression of retroviruses in vitro as well as psittacine nutrition and behavior studies. Since graduation, Dr. Kraft has worked at a busy small animal emergency practice in northwest San Antonio and a general small animal practice in Lexington, Kentucky. He moved back to Texas in 2014 with his wife, Kate, a Dallas native. Dr. Kraft has special interest in internal medicine and enjoys working on challenging cases. Dr. Kraft shares his home with his wife, their German Shepherd, two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and two cats. In his free time he enjoys hiking, camping and scuba diving.
